Question: Do I have a stress fracture in my foot, or a stress reaction?

I run cross country and track. Less than a week ago, I jogged seven miles on the treadmill at 4.5mph. It had been a while since I ran that much though. Every time I put weight on my foot it hurts. When I first start walking it’s bad but not horrible, but as I continue walking the pain increases, and it gets worse every second I’m walking. Then when I sit down it all disappears. There isn’t a lot of swelling. Maybe just a little on the right edge of my foot close to my ankle. It hurts a little on my lower shin. What do you think? Stress fracture or just a reaction?
